Gaspard is a restaurant in Luang Prabang known for warm, attentive service and a relaxed atmosphere. We are looking for a full-time Restaurant Supervisor to support the Restaurant Leader and guide the service team on the floor. This role is suitable for someone early in their hospitality career who is ready to take on more responsibility.

As Restaurant Supervisor, you will help ensure each guest has a smooth and enjoyable experience, while supporting colleagues and maintaining daily standards.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily service and assist the Restaurant Leader in organising the shift.
• Guide the service team on the floor so that orders and service run smoothly.
• Welcome guests, present menus and answer basic questions about food and drinks.
• Check table settings and cleanliness before, during and after service.
• Help handle guest requests and minor complaints in a calm and polite way.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar to ensure timing and quality of dishes and drinks.
• Support training of new team members in service standards.
• Follow company procedures for billing, cash handling and reservations.

Requirements

• Some previous experience in a restaurant, café or hotel service role.
• Willingness to learn and take direction from the Restaurant Leader.
• Friendly, polite and confident speaking with guests.
• Basic English communication; more languages are an advantage.
• Good teamwork, reliability and a positive attitude during busy periods.
• Attention to detail in service, presentation and cleanliness.
